Human Security Solutions (HSS) is proud to host the Platform for Human Security and Security Governance, a collaborative space dedicated to promoting effective, inclusive, and rights-based approaches to security in Syria and other post-conflict contexts.
This platform serves as a convening point for practitioners, researchers, civil society actors, local authorities, and international partners who are working toward a shared goal: rebuilding security sectors that are accountable, transparent, and people-centered.
What We Offer:
Dialogue Spaces – Roundtables, workshops, and public forums that bring together diverse voices to reflect on the future of security governance in fragile and transitioning settings.
Research & Knowledge Exchange – We facilitate collaborative research and analysis on topics such as SSR (Security Sector Reform), DDR (Disarmament, Demobilization, Reintegration), transitional justice, community safety, and hybrid security orders.
Capacity Building – Through targeted trainings and mentoring, we support local institutions and civil society organizations in strengthening their engagement in reform and oversight of the security sector.
Expert Network – Our platform connects Syrian and international experts to promote innovation, share good practices, and support policy development rooted in local realities and international standards.
This platform is grounded in the belief that security is not just the absence of violence, but the presence of dignity, justice, and trust between people and institutions.

تفخر Human Security Solutions (HSS) بإطلاق منصة الأمن الإنساني وحوكمة القطاع الأمني، وهي مساحة تعاونية مخصصة لتعزيز نهج فعّال وشامل وقائم على الحقوق في مجال الأمن داخل سوريا وسياقات ما بعد النزاع المشابهة.

مساحات للحوار – موائد مستديرة وورش عمل ومنتديات عامة تجمع مختلف الأصوات للتفكير في مستقبل حوكمة الأمن في البيئات الهشة والانتقالية.
البحث وتبادل المعرفة – نقوم بتيسير البحوث المشتركة والتحليلات في مواضيع مثل إصلاح القطاع الأمني (SSR)، ونزع السلاح والتسريح وإعادة الإدماج (DDR)، والعدالة الانتقالية، والأمن المجتمعي، والنظم الأمنية الهجينة.
بناء القدرات – من خلال التدريبات والتوجيه، ندعم المؤسسات المحلية ومنظمات المجتمع المدني لتعزيز مشاركتها في إصلاح القطاع الأمني ورقابته.
شبكة الخبراء – تربط المنصة بين خبراء سوريين ودوليين لتبادل الابتكارات وأفضل الممارسات، ودعم تطوير السياسات المبنية على الواقع المحلي والمعايير الدولية.
