Youth Taskforce
The Youth Taskforce at Human Security Solutions is rooted in the belief that meaningful youth participation is essential to achieving lasting peace, security, and justice in Syria. Young people are not only victims of conflict or passive recipients of aid—they are agents of change, community leaders, and critical stakeholders in shaping post-conflict recovery.
Aligned with the UN’s Youth, Peace and Security (YPS) agenda, our taskforce aims to ensure that youth voices are heard, respected, and integrated in processes of security sector reform (SSR), transitional justice, and peacebuilding.
We engage youth from across Syria—urban and rural, displaced and returning—to build their capacity, amplify their role in local governance, and equip them to challenge exclusion, violence, and marginalization.
Key areas of focus:
- Training young people to engage with SSR and good governance initiatives
- Supporting youth-led dialogue on justice, accountability, and reconciliation
- Building platforms for youth participation in local peace and security discussions
- Bridging generational gaps between youth and decision-makers
- Promoting youth leadership in civic activism and community safety
In a society rebuilding from conflict, young Syrians represent hope, innovation, and resilience. Through the Youth Taskforce, we invest in their leadership, listen to their experiences, and empower them to be at the heart of Syria’s future security and peace infrastructure.
فريق عمل الشباب
يستند فريق عمل الشباب في حلول الأمن الإنساني إلى قناعة راسخة بأن المشاركة الفاعلة للشباب أمرٌ جوهري لتحقيق السلام والأمن والعدالة المستدامة في سوريا. فالشباب ليسوا مجرد ضحايا للنزاع أو متلقين للمساعدة، بل هم صنّاع تغيير، وقادة مجتمعيون، وشركاء أساسيون في إعادة بناء ما بعد النزاع.
تماشياً مع أجندة الشباب، السلام، والأمن (YPS) الصادرة عن الأمم المتحدة، يعمل الفريق على ضمان سماع أصوات الشباب، واحترامها، ودمجها في عمليات إصلاح قطاع الأمن، والعدالة الانتقالية، وبناء السلام.
نستهدف الشباب من مختلف المناطق والفئات في سوريا—من المدن والريف، من النازحين والعائدين—لتعزيز قدراتهم، وتمكينهم من لعب أدوار قيادية في الحكم المحلي، ومواجهة التهميش والعنف والإقصاء.
محاور عملنا الأساسية:
- تدريب الشباب على المشاركة في إصلاح القطاع الأمني ومبادئ الحوكمة الرشيدة
- دعم حوارات يقودها الشباب حول العدالة والمساءلة والمصالحة
- إنشاء منصات لتعزيز مشاركة الشباب في مناقشات السلام والأمن المحلية
- بناء جسور تواصل بين الأجيال وبين الشباب وصناع القرار
- تعزيز القيادة الشبابية في العمل المدني والسلامة المجتمعية
في مجتمع يسعى للنهوض بعد النزاع، يُجسد الشباب السوري الأمل، والابتكار، والمرونة. ومن خلال فريق عمل الشباب، نستثمر في قيادتهم، وننصت لتجاربهم، ونمكّنهم من أن يكونوا في صميم بنية الأمن والسلام لمستقبل سوريا.
