School for Human Security and State Security Governance
The School for Human Security and State Security Governance (SH3SG) is the educational and training arm of Human Security Solutions. It is designed to build local and international capacity in critical areas of post-conflict transformation, including security sector governance, human rights, rule of law, and transitional justice.
Through tailored training programs, field-based workshops, and strategic dialogue, the School empowers emerging leaders, civil society actors, government personnel, and international stakeholders to engage effectively in rebuilding inclusive, transparent, and accountable institutions.
We focus on equipping participants with the practical tools and critical thinking needed to navigate complex environments—where peacebuilding, justice, and security must go hand in hand.
Our areas of focus include:
- Governance of the security and justice sectors
- Disarmament, demobilization and reintegration (DDR)
- Transitional justice and reconciliation
- Conflict sensitivity and human rights
- Gender and human security
