Women TaskForce

The Women Taskforce at Human Security Solutions is a dedicated platform for advancing the role of women in peacebuilding, security governance, and post-conflict recovery in Syria. We believe that inclusive peace is only possible when women are not only present—but leading—in shaping security, justice, and governance outcomes.

Composed of women leaders from civil society, local governance, academia, and the security and justice sectors, the Taskforce works to amplify women’s voices, support their professional development, and ensure their active participation in decision-making processes at all levels.

Our goals include:

Promoting gender-sensitive approaches in all security and peacebuilding initiatives
Supporting women’s leadership in SSR, DDR, and transitional justice processes
Creating safe spaces for peer support, dialogue, and knowledge-sharing
Influencing policy through evidence-based advocacy and field engagement
Building bridges between local women’s experiences and international frameworks

The Women Taskforce leads trainings, conducts field consultations, and advises institutions and international partners on how to embed gender perspectives meaningfully in their work.

We are proud to stand with women across Syria who are working for dignity, safety, and justice in the most challenging environments.

يشكّل فريق عمل المرأة في حلول الأمن الإنساني منصة مخصصة لتعزيز دور المرأة في بناء السلام، وحوكمة الأمن، والتعافي بعد النزاع في سوريا. نحن نؤمن بأن السلام الشامل لا يمكن تحقيقه إلا عندما تكون النساء ليس فقط حاضرات، بل قياديات في صياغة نتائج الأمن والعدالة والحوكمة.

يتكوّن الفريق من قيادات نسائية في المجتمع المدني، والحوكمة المحلية، والقطاعين الأمني والقضائي، والجامعات، ويعمل على تضخيم أصوات النساء، ودعم تطويرهن المهني، وضمان مشاركتهن الفاعلة في عمليات صنع القرار على كافة المستويات.

أهدافنا تشمل:

تعزيز المناهج الحساسة للنوع الاجتماعي في جميع مبادرات الأمن وبناء السلام
دعم القيادة النسائية في عمليات إصلاح قطاع الأمن، ونزع السلاح، والعدالة الانتقالية
خلق مساحات آمنة للدعم المتبادل، والحوار، وتبادل المعرفة
التأثير في السياسات من خلال المناصرة المبنية على الأدلة والانخراط الميداني
بناء جسور بين تجارب النساء المحليات والأطر الدولية

يقود فريق عمل المرأة تدريبات، ويجري مشاورات ميدانية، ويقدّم المشورة للمؤسسات والشركاء الدوليين حول كيفية دمج منظور النوع الاجتماعي بشكل هادف في أعمالهم.
