Who Are We?

Human Security Solutions (HSS) is a research, advisory, and implementation organization committed to advancing human security, security governance, and sustainable peace in fragile and post-conflict environments—starting with Syria.

Founded by regional and international experts with deep field experience, HSS works at the intersection of state security, community needs, and human rights. We believe that security is not just the absence of violence—but the presence of justice, dignity, and effective institutions.

From Damascus to Idlib, from camps to coastal communities, we engage with a wide range of actors including local civil society, state institutions, media professionals, armed actors, international agencies, and academic institutions. We promote inclusive dialogue, experiential learning, practical knowledge production and state reform to build a security architecture that serves people—not just power.

We implement programs, host policy roundtables, publish expert analysis, and offer capacity-building for local leaders and state institutions. We also coordinate expert networks and thematic task forces to drive meaningful change.

HSS is headquartered between Gaziantep and Syria, operating independently and driven by a vision of a peaceful, secure, and democratic region.

حلول الأمن الإنساني (Human Security Solutions – HSS) هي منظمة بحثية واستشارية وتنفيذية تعمل على تعزيز الأمن الإنساني، وحوكمة القطاع الأمني، وبناء السلام المستدام في البيئات الهشة وما بعد النزاع، بدءًا من سوريا.

تأسست HSS على يد خبراء محليين ودوليين يتمتعون بخبرة ميدانية عميقة، وتعمل عند تقاطع الأمن الرسمي، واحتياجات المجتمعات، وحقوق الإنسان. نحن نؤمن أن الأمن لا يعني فقط غياب العنف، بل وجود العدالة والكرامة والمؤسسات الفعالة.

من دمشق إلى إدلب، ومن المخيمات إلى المناطق الساحلية، نتفاعل مع مجموعة واسعة من الفاعلين، من المجتمع المدني المحلي، والمؤسسات الحكومية، والإعلاميين، والجهات المسلحة، إلى الوكالات الدولية والجامعات. نروّج للحوار الشامل، وإنتاج المعرفة، والإصلاحات التي تضمن بناء هيكل أمني يخدم الناس لا السلطة فقط.

يقع مقر HSS بين غازي عنتاب وشمال سوريا، وتعمل باستقلالية تامة مدفوعة برؤية نحو منطقة أكثر أمنًا وسلامًا وديمقراطية.
